My Amsterdam experience...

Took two days off from work to go on a short vacation to Amsterdam, but it was no ordinary vacation, this time i was a REAL TRIP, an exciting journey.
Plane tickets were already bought, me and my friends were set for a superb experience, booking online a hotel reservation to hotel Torenzicht.
Everything started softly an cool, the airplane ride was horrible for my sensitive ears and we were already in Bruselles after a 2 hour flight. (7:20 p.m.)

As a foreigner,(although i have seen most of Europe) i forgot the fact that transportation was never a real issue as most of my life I have been traveling by car.So, there we were looking for a bus to Amsterdam. Asking for directions in Belgium is almost useless as Dutch people know English well but have no idea how to give directions or even how to get somewhere that's not in their daily routine.
Got on a bus to Bruselles Nord paying 3$ ticket, where the last station "Terminal , terminus" he said, and we were close to Eurolines company, whom provided us a 2 hour journey to Amsterdam with the discounted price (-3$) for students (<26) at the price of 14,5$.
Eurolines , hello :

there it was :))
Yey !! we got to Amsterdam, but not even close to the well known tourist zone. We had to take the subway 4-5 stations to get downtown.
Finally got to Red Light District (R.l.d.) where our hotel was situated exactly in the middle if Redline.
Entering the hotel, totally unconventional, everything was exactly as in the pictures on the internet site. The Check in was actually the BAR hiding extraordinary, joyful an really energetic people, something you don't see everyday in Amsterdam, i'll tell you that. So the hotel room was 100$ for 4 days-3 nights with breakfast included, and a bar open 24 hours a day only for the guests staying at the hotel, the bar closes for the public at 1 o'clock A.M. as do the weed-shops and "coffee shops".
Restless after checking in, we went strawling thrue R.L.D. to see if we can buy some medical herbs to calm us down. Our search was in vain as Amsterdam probably has a policy that no coffee-shop may be open after 1 p.m., maybe safety measures. We got something to eat , when i notice that a bold man was going in and out a coffee-shop what was closed (did i mention i went to Amsterdam with 4 beautiful girls??).Well the bold man, let's call him PACO, came to the same store we were buying food from and two of the beauties mezorized him with their POWER OF PERSUASION to sell us some weed,"but the girls leveled up while they were in the aircraft and didn't know" so PACO reached for his pocket and gave them a had of weed free of charge.I would like to underline that until this moment we were fully woken.
We got back to our hotel bar, rolled them up and lit them. Our spirits got mellow so i thought that we should enjoy some music of B.B.King, so the barman indulged us with the sweet chilling sounds of guitar blues.
THE NEXT DAY
The next day if i may say so, eat a breakfast at 9 A.M. and headed back to sleep until 2 o'clock p.m. .My trip was strictly to experiment, did not like R.L.D. , cause it may sound entertaining if you hear about it, but the almost naked ladies in the windows making signs to come to them, wasn't attractive at all, THEY AREN'T !! Hope i don't disrespect anyone but the majority of them weren't even touchable from my point of view, it was actually disturbing as my perception was ruined and what was left of my sex drive, died in an instant. Prices for sex were from 35-40 up , but that wasn't an experiment planed of mine.
Went to the sex museum had a 4$ fee and on a boat trip (CANAL TRIP) for 12$. My budget was poor so i kept it to a minimum, mot of my expenses were going on all the sweet goods and drinks (4 the munchies).
One plan i had for sure in mind was to try an 8 year award winning weed strain called Jack Herrer, SO I DID !! :)
Went to "BABA" (recommend this place) they have vaporizers, drinks, great music and great chill mood. So me and my friend Tudor bought 1 gram of Jack and made a great blunt out of more than half of it. Wile getting high, time flu by quickly.
[Jack Herrer high is a psychedelic, warm, in touch with everything around you high, music sounds were invading my ears, my head could't be anywhere els. great for relaxation]

AND ME :)))

Although we should have left for our established gathering place, my friend was just hypnotized by his inner peace, didn't want to disturb him, WE LEFT !! EVENTUALLY !
Two days passed and it seemed as a hole week went by, our schedule was limited to smoking for the low budget ones. Our beautiful girls wend and had a blast on their own, visiting Madame Tussaud and other museums. Proud of Romanian girls, of my friends actually cause although there were naked ladies for everyone and everywhere, men still were turning their heads to admire our girls.
Beautiful days...last day was almost there, by night i decided i should try some mushrooms cause a draft was blowing in my wallet. So i went and bought some mushrooms that had some dolphins on the box for 17$ (i found it funny cause i like dolphins) and they were recommended for me as a first time user and the girls bought some Mexican mushrooms for 20$. As beginners, everyone waited for me to eat them to see how it will affect me, after eating 70% of the box and waiting 45 min to make it's effect, the others eat what remand of my box. Sadly to say my vision was a little blurry and the color spectrum went into a subtil yellowish colour.I wasn't that high but my friends, my god, they saw volcano's and little tripy images. SO THAT WAS THAT FOR GETTING HIGH.

LAST DAY-> Started the actual trip, by that i'am talking about the unexpected, the unplanned. Starting our journey from Amsterdam. Getting at the train station where we asked around i how to get to Bruselles to Euroline, only to find out that the don't actually FUNCTION Sundays. So that was that we decided to take the train to Bruselles , paid a fee of 30$ and waited for the train to arrive. Only to be announced that after waiting 40 min (1:20 p.m.) the train was cancelled.
So we went back and asked for a refund a to buy other tickets. The info lady asked us where we were going and we all said "TO THE AIRPORT !!" , then she asked us which one? we told her the international airport cause we are flying with Blueair (that seemed a good idea at the time to say). So she sold us tickets to bruselles (we were still in Amsterdam) bus station that was nearest to our airport, the train would have arrived in Bruselles at 5:20 p.m. , that would have been perfect as our flight was leaving at 6:20.
In Bruselles we got on a mini taxi that has 13$, we took the mini bus cause the big bus would have gotten to the airport in 1hour and we didn't have the time. The man drove crazy but carefully and we made it at 6:00 p.m. , we ran to the info booth and asked were the terminal for BLUEAIR is....

------------------------------THIS IS THE MOMENT -----------------------------------

the info lady looked at us strange and explained that there is no flight to Romania at this airport, the only departure for Romania is Wednesday. At that moment panic and sadness fell upon us, no one had any money left and no food or water, I and one of the girls started laughing cause there was nothing els to do at that point.
Learning that hope is in everything and everyone, the driver came to see if we have left. Seeing us desperate and one of the girls was crying, he offered us a trip back to bruselles and if we wanted he offered to crash at his place. After declining the really nice gesture of kindness , we remained at the train station next to an closed Western Union to open so our peers to send us money to buy new airplane tickets.
Sitting and talking about what just happened, one of our beautiful girls (Andreea) bought everyone a burger with her last money. On a full stomach, my head started working so i called a friend an arranged that he will book me a new airplane ticket instead of sending me the money and that we should go to the airport with the train although we didn't have any money.
We took the last train to Zeventem (airport), although there were people that never did this before (taking the train without tickets) EVER...we sat quietly and didn't got caught. We arrived at the airport at 12:10 p.m. and by that time most of us already had booked a ticket back , we slept in the airport in a "sleeping zone" and got safely back home.

This was a real trip !!
