aIt's rap [hip- hop means] soul [hip- hop means] R&B [hip- hop means] funk , for most people today hip-hop is about bling bling , but what was before the bling bling ?What was before the Escalade , the 9 millie’s and the Huchy's...it's a fellow cross cultural communication , it's a life style , a language , a passion it's simple and complex it's about an individual questioning the establishment ,it's about recombining and combining everything that came before...Hip Hop is about finding a new voice , WHAT HIP HOP REALLY IS can be combined into 3 simple words I AM HERE !!
Dancing....it's funny, these kids , they don't even realize the history the sattle behind every move they make is in a foot print bigger then their own...{Colombus Short}...loving, passion , dancing is the way you express yourself , the way u move your hands is simply the state of mind your are in , body expresses your training and health , feet represents your ideas and way of expressing them. There was a ancient saying that dancing is speaking with your body, everybody can do it , no one is less interesting if they try ! By all loving arts , ballet , tango , rumba , waltz , pop , break ,there come's R&B or some would like to call it Street dancing , one dance that actually covers all grounds , all dances in one , all feelings combined , bad/good/evil/nice/aggressive/loving/passion/numbness violent/uplifting/hard/soft/quick/slow ...More than 5 billion people dance , 5% of these people have a degree , only 0.5 make it in show business ...have you ever hear anyone complain ?No ! because it's not about the money n'or the fame , is making a difference later on , it's like poetry , you can actually express other ones feeling true your own moves, it's your way of telepathy ,and in the end you accomplish to touch someone on a higher level . U CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Loving is the term we actually can define , it's something that is so abstract to man, sometimes it is used wrongly to express all the bundle of feeling we have toward a thing or a person , passion has it's way of clearing it up , cause it narrows down all the possibility of mixing up the meaning , you can't say "i have a passion for you my love" it would be wrong but it sounds good cause as a declaration of love , it has the right of being abstract and weird , but Passion is actually the only feeling that occupies our mind , and harts , it's the only feeling/thought which consumes our love (real love) for something .It's symptoms are : not being able to sleep, eat , or think about anything else. The only feeling that makes us cry of happiness, of success, it gives us the power to go on, the energy we need to live fulfillment in its core. You can be poor but full of passion and it helps you sleep and live a happy life, passion actually is the thing that was suppressed in the war , but remained lit. Passion came in so many categories that even murderers had and have a passion of killing. Soldiers had a passion or remaining alive in Vietnam, but the thing remained unchanged is the expressive down to earth image loving, expressive dancing and drawing. Passion is one thing , dancing is everything . THE HIP HOP CULTURE EXPOSED
